CONSERVATIVEKath moved to Brackley with her family, from Portsmouth, in 1996, was first elected to Brackley Town Council in 2003 and now serves as a Conservative Councillor.She was educated in Portsmouth and went on the study an MBA in Business Management at London (Thames Valley) University, and a Degree in Business Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford. Most of her working life was spent in a sales and general management environment, for many years was employed as Sales & Marketing Director of a large national business and currently runs her own Coaching and Mentoring Practice.She is keen to represent the views of the local community to ensure that Brackley can progress for the betterment of us all whilst preserving what’s special, retaining the history and culture of the market town. She plays a significant role in promoting the growth of businesses and enterprises in the local area and is passionate about Brackley. She is always ready to assist in the local community.As well as being a Town Councillor she is a District Councillor representing West Brackley at South Northamptonshire Council. The areas of specific interest include: Business, Youth & Education, Community Relations, Housing, Elderly, Transport and Health.During her time as a Councillor she instigated the Play Space Strategy for Brackley, was instrumental in the building of the playspaces in Brackley Park and at Humphries Drive and more recently is leading the Skate-Park project.More recently she has strived for the building the Skatepark and is Chairman of Brackley Town Hall and Old Fire Station Regeneration Working Party.
