Responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive supervision of the scholarship program and recipient support programs for single parents served by the four-county region. With primary responsibility over all recipient-related activities and volunteer functions.Enable each program staff members and the agency as a whole to meet annual program goals and objectives.Implement our program in such a way as to simultaneously build additional resources such as a significant number of well-trained and highly engaged volunteers and strategic community partnerships leading to new opportunities for recipients, graduates, volunteers, and staff.Conduct annual follow-up on previous year recipients and compiles data for reportingConduct new recipient orientation for fall and spring recipients.Prepare program budget and operate program department within board-approved budget.Ensure sound program systems, policies, and procedures for program delivery and program consistency across the service area.Supervise all members of the Program Department and establish measurable performance goals, provide training, supervise regularly, offer individual performance feedback, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Create platform to grow initiatives for non-traditional scholarship programs such as credentialing, healthcare careers, vocational education, and apprenticeships. Develop, plan and execute Empower Summit, recipient development programs, and personal/professional development workshops as needed.Develop and maintain relationships with institutions, community groups and other potential referral sources to ensure accurate information about the application process and deadlines is widely available.Maintain an active membership in various civic and professional groups such as Rotary and National Career Development Association.Provide direct supervision of staff and volunteers, including Development and Program Manager and Program Directors.
