A time of personal and professional development where I lead a committee of thirteen fellow students of various degree disciplines. I worked closely with the School of English to create a strong year for the English and Literary Society containing a mixture of events with authors, creative writing sessions, coffee mornings and the launch night for our student publication, Caveat Lector. Being secretary involved managing the society email account, being part of the executive committee members, recording minutes during any society meeting, organising a committee timetable for meetings and society events and helping set up events. This position also required acting as second in command to the Auditor.
