I am a dedicated News writer, Journalist, and Producer with a strong passion for current and social affairs. I have an extensive background in content creation across various media platforms, including radio, podcasting, documentaries, and film, I thrive on telling people's stories with accuracy and depth. My experience spans from producing ‘The Morning Show with Declan Meehan,’ as well as researching and developing news stories for on air content as well as for online articles. I have experience in reporting for politics such as the recent 2024 Local Elections where I assisted interviews as well as promoted on social media. I am deeply committed to fact-checking and delivering engaging, informative content that resonates with audiences. My goal is to excel as a journalist, continuously honing my craft to bring impactful stories to light.I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate in New Media Studies. I graduated in 2023 from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT), Dun Laoghaire with First Class Honours.Throughout the four year course in IADT, I have gained skills in Media related subjects, both practical and theoretical, such as Podcasting, Editing, Journalism, Film Making and Screenwriting. As well as that, I have a profound skillset in Storytelling, Researching and Design. In Stuttgart, Germany, in which I did my Erasmus, in Hochschule der Medien, I was awarded with a diploma in Media Creation and Management. In this course, I developed a two times weekly Radio Show in English as well as gaining a further understanding of the Management side of Media such as Finance, Marketing and Industry.
