I am a recent Bachelor of Arts graduate of Mary Immaculate College with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and English. I am currently studying a Masters in Applied Psychology at University College Cork. I have a passion for working with children and plan to pursue a career in psychology through further studies, research and work experience upon my graduation in 2026. I am driven by a continuous desire to learn, grow, and contribute to impactful psychological research and aim to further develop my research skills at postgraduate level.I have a plethora of experience working with children, including roles of classroom assistant, volleyball coach, camp counsellor, camp leader and home tutor. Through these roles I have gained extensive experience working with children with a variety of ID diagnoses ranging from ASD to Angelman Syndrome. I am passionate about developing intercultural relations, having studied abroad at a variety of third level institutions including Shanghai University, the University of Central Florida, and St Francis College, Brooklyn NY. I utilise my summer months to work abroad as a camp counsellor in the US. Working as part of multicultural teams has widened my horizons both personally and professionally, providing me with meaningful connections with a variety of individuals across the globe. Through my previous work experience and intensive Psychology academia, I have developed my communication, teamwork and leadership skills. I served as class representative in both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, advocating for my fellow peers in MIC and UCC. I work well within a team and individually, and am always eager to take on new challenges.
