Responsible for coordinating the onboarding of all new portfolios (funds & SMAs) within the AsiaPac region, and asset transition activity across all middle and back office teams.

Managed 2 local teams - Trade Settlements & Collateral Management.Responsible for continued globalization of local settlements & derivatives teams to facilitate “follow the sun” middle office operations across corresponding Melbourne, London & Philadelphia teams.

Led 2 teams (10 staff) responsible for daily settlements and collateral movements across approximately 70 portfolios with 8 different local/global custodian banks.Responsible for ensuring team delivered on all daily requirements, with appropriate procedures and controls in place. Management of team performance, ensuring that staff had regular catch ups and received regular feedback.Oversaw establishment of multiple new teams & processes, instalment of new systems, and process improvements.

Responsible for ensuring that all trades have been captured & released to custodian banks across all systems. Daily checking and sign-off on work allocations across multiple asset classes within necessary delivery times.

Responsible for the input and settlement of all repo/rev repo, CD’s and FRN’s deals through the euroclear settlements system EUCLID, and monitoring of all bank accounts to ensure sufficient cash positions.

Processing of all broker deals and transfers, and reporting all necessary deals to the FSA (UK regulatory body). Investigating all failed and unmatched trades. Monitoring client accounts that are trading short, and where necessary authorize FX deals or advise brokers additional funds are required from their clients

Responsible for settling all Clearstream/Euroclear dealing for INVESCO through the Cedcom system, and monitoring all Cedcom reports for any cash overdrafts. Reconciliation of approx 55 funds (each with 2-3 share classes) between the Custodian, INVESCO and Clearstream/Euroclear on a monthly basisDevelopment of test plans and conditions, and testing of a new electronic dealing link between the Dublin – Vienna and Dublin – Paris offices

Processing daily applications & redemptions for retail and wholesale funds, and producing all associated cheques and paperwork.

Responsible for processing new applications, contributions and transfers into CMT’s and RSA superannuation. Solely responsible for daily and monthly reconciliations.
