With academic and professional backgrounds in Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Education, Digital Health, Training & Adoption, Informatics, NFP Management, Public Health, and Leadership, Chirag has extensive experience/expertise in multiple fields. Health and Education:Chirag is the Founder/Director of the registered charity organization 'Positively Transforming World' - designed to provide health and education support globally through a skill-based volunteer run and operated model. Whilst his input to PTW have always been purely through volunteering, he has worked to build an organization that supports disadvantaged and vulnerable children in many low-income countries, supported by volunteers from over 20+ countries through effective digital and and in-person initiatives. Chirag's work creating the Hoslitic Development Model, and innovative work in volunteering, education, and health, has seen him present at conferences and provide consulting support to other NFPs and charities. He has always maintained a hands-on approach and facilitated education, teaching and health support voluntarily for over a decade on a weekly basis. Digital Health Training, Adoption and Transformation:Following full-time work as a clinical pharmacist, Chirag has extensive experience in Digital Health education and transformation. As a Coordinator and Principal Trainer, Chirag has been involved in numerous digital health implementation projects and worked closely with informatics and change practices to innovate novel ways of using, teaching and designing technology within clinical and healthcare environments to improve patient safety and patient outcomes. The work with his DHT&A team at Monash was given a Monash Health award, and his work supporting the Victorian DHHS on the Coronavirus Vaccine Management System saw his change strategy for training, communications and support implemented succesfully across the entire Victorian state. He has presented on his success across Digital Health at numerous conferences, and often provides advice to others on the topic.Clinical Pharmacy:After commencing as an intern and clinical pharmacist at Western Health, his passion for clinical health, medication management and medication safety led him to Eastern Health in a variety of clinical roles. As the Surgical Pharmacy Lead, and Senior Eastern Health Surgical and Anaesthetic Pharmacist, Chirag clinically supported patients, supported early-career pharmacists education programs and helped implement operational change projects to improve patient outcomes.
