Virtual Teacher: 10th Literature and Composition, On-Level and Honors Virtual 10th Lit and Comp Lead, Honors and On-LevelDesigned both the honors and the on-level, virtual10th lit and comp curriculum, using the itslearning platform. Curriculum used across the county by all virtual 10th lit and comp teachers. Managed email as well as itslearning communication for over 25 teachers; organized and led meetings to disseminate information to teachers and to train teachers in technology they may have had little prior experience with; fielded all questions from those 25 teachers about the emerging virtual classroom process; remained positive during a time of great change in our field, working to enliven the same spirit in my team; created full unit pathways to be copied and implemented each week; trained all virtual 10th lit teachers on how to use such emerging technology as Nearpod, Flipgrid, Screencastify, Commonlit; taught teachers how to use the itslearning platform with more sophistication and with the user experience in mind. Models of my work were used in county-wide trainings held for all teachers taking on virtual courses that school year. Led a system-wide summer session on designing an online English setting.
