Acting as Director and reporting to the CFO, I am the head of security and parking services for 3 hospital sites with 2.5 million square feet —Mississauga Hospital, Queensway Health Centre, and Credit Valley Hospital. I direct 5 core operations including parking, security, non-urgent patient transportation, grounds and snow removal, and shuttle services. I manage an organization of 100+ team members, an operating budget of $8M, I generated $18M in revenue through parking services, and transformed the security program from a single-site to a multi-site model with 1200 beds across 3 hospitals, 4 community sites, 13,000 staff and an average of 280,000 emergency visits annually. Under my leadership, my teams ensure they are providing a safe customer and patient experience. I also standardized processes in areas of higher risk, including newborn security, prisoners as patients, and targeted violence.I’m proud to highlight the following accomplishments:► Security & Operations Highlights● Orchestrating a large-scale project re-badging 12,000 people, which was completed on time and on budget► Leadership & Partnerships Highlights● Initiating a strategy to create more cultural and gender diversity within departments in order to better represent community demographics. We also hosted the week-long 2011 annual conference and exhibit welcoming 250 attendees from across Canada and the US.

I also fostered partnerships with the Toronto Police Department, Emergency Medical Services, and the emergency management branch of the Ministry as well as several other Toronto hospitals.A couple of my most notable achievements included:● Developed and launched the 1st formal online emergency colour-code training program. I worked closely with IT and the Emergency Management committee to make this happen.● Coordinated 5 disaster exercises for groups of approximately 20 security personnel, held at Centennial College
