Between 2009 and 2013, I successfully expanded the operations team's capabilities from supporting only Windows/IIS and datacenters to include Amazon AWS and Linux/Apach/Tomcat-based products. I grew the team from 13 people only in the US, supporting 6 products and a budget near $10M to a team of over 30 people located in the US, Singapore and Switzerland, supporting 27 products and a budget that grew 3X.

Projects included: - lead engineer for software localization into 6 languages- one of four engineers responsible for converting server-side code to C# and .NET- one of two engineers responsible for converting server-side code to support Unicode

Reviewed data model for relational database.* Defined, documented and implemented data encryption strategy for protecting Fair Isaac intellectual property within distributed COM application implemented in C++/ATL/MFC/VB. Designed Import/Export, Undo/Redo, GUI snap-in and server extension architecture for this product.* Researched Java integration strategy and maintained Java-based GUI tree component. Led client GUI team of 4 engineers; mentored team members and reviewed their work, maintained team schedule and provided employee reviews. * Established and led architecture board to promote best practices for design and implementation across Fair Isaac products groups. Co-authored department standards for coding and component development. Promoted the adoption of XML within other products. * Provided executive management with technical assessment of two company's engineering teams and software products as part of potential partnering or acquisition decision.

Defined statement of work and external vendor requirements.* Managed technical relationship with critical software supplier for Autodesk. This critical relationship had become divisive due to missed deliverables and conflicting business priorities. Under these conditions, I successfully rebuilt trust among the technical staff and continually provided a professional forum for technical discussion between engineers from both companies.
