Responsible for providing senior leadership and strategic direction to Clubs in the Wilmington region, which enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

WinWon is a software tool that helps collegiate athletic directors and coaches manage student athletes from recruitment through their final season.

I was promoted to manage 20 senior leaders and coaches, overseeing 75 employees and 700 student-athletes with a $7M budget oversight. I deliver visionary leadership while managing/growing an athletics department consisting of 24 intercollegiate sports. Serving as a liaison to campus leadership, I assess and evaluate programs, efficiency, and effectiveness. In addition, I recruit and hire coaches/staff members and lead talent management, onboarding, policies/procedures, organizational development, performance management, training, and culture development.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:► Earned the Assumption University Presidential Award for Excellence in Service.► Revamped the entire hiring process, developing a search committee and strategy to identify top talent, reducing turnover to zero.► Established consistency in the performance appraisal process, replacing an outdated approach. Defined vision/goals and created five pillars to deliver transparency on expectations. ► Entirely restructured department, reclassifying positions and creating official job descriptions.► Aligned salaries to market value by thoroughly researching and creating salary ranges for each job.► Built an HR/business office to organize initiatives. Developed all processes and promoted a team member to oversee all efforts.► Boosted staff productivity by driving a new performance management process to manage underperformers. ► Enhanced overall culture by building partnerships between the athletic office and all departments across campus, meeting with each department to establish communication lines and eliminate misinformation about student-athletes.► Invited to speak at a campus-wide event as an expert on mental health. Served as 1 of 3 speakers along with the university president and the event’s exhibit owner.► Organized/led the most profitable fundraiser to date, a widely attended golf tournament.

I joined as the highest-ranked female in the department, leading a team of 5 and managing a comprehensive NCAA compliance program for the college's 24 sports programs. I was accountable for student-athlete services, including welfare and academic success, while overseeing the Assumption Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and serving as the sport supervisor for multiple sports programs. I was later promoted to lead a team of 8 coaches/staff members with oversight of academics, strategic planning, and compliance efforts.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:► Created and executed 50+ procedures, where none previously existed, to ensure and monitor adherence to NCAA policies. ► Instrumental in implementing a sports administrator program for each team. ► Reversed the underperformance of coaches by facilitating numerous meetings and providing helpful feedback to ultimately help them reach their goals.► Orchestrated the digital transformation of the athletics department to ensure every student-athlete was eligible for competition. Secured buy-in from senior leaders to introduce a proprietary CRM system to replace an outdated system, tracking academic performance and optimizing compliance and document management efforts.

In this role, I ensured NCAA compliance for the institution’s 31 sports and monitored initial eligibility for incoming student-athletes, collaborating directly with the NCAA eligibility center. I also served as a liaison to the university’s admissions office. In addition, I researched interpretations and case precedence using LSBDi. I administered the Facebook and Twitter pages to provide rules education to student-athletes, coaches, boosters, and fans. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:► Routinely prepared and delivered high-impact presentations to coaches on policies and procedures, presenting to audiences of up to 50.► Established an atmosphere of head coach responsibility by regularly educating coaches through monthly newsletters, bi-weekly meetings, and weekly tips.

I was hired to ensure compliance with NCAA guidelines for the institutions’ 16 sports and 400 student-athletes. I monitored employment, outside competition, and off-campus housing for all student-athletes while assisting with financial aid issues. I also educated coaches, led special projects, and managed $50K in the NCAA special assistance fund.

In this role, I certified student-athlete eligibility for practice and competition, educated coaches, compiled data, and worked on special projects.
