About Carrie Leigh

I was bit by the radio bug in 1996. I had worked as an on-air radio personality in Erie radio for more than 10 years. I left in 2006 to pursue a career in Marketing with Troyer Farms Snack Foods. In September 2012, I was afforded the opportunity to return to my radio-roots and work part-time for WTWF-FM and WRTS-FM. Shortly after iHeart took over and just before Covid was a thing, I was let go. Life after radio included a complete change of careers: answering phones at a busy veterinary hospital starting in 2020. In 2021, I’d come to find that life after radio could include radio, with a home studio and a mid-day shift at WCTL-FM. A friend told me, “You can tell a lot about a person by how they spend their time.” And I am super busy being a mom in addition to helping pets and playing Christian Music!
