- Provide overall plant leadership in quality for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Food Safety/Quality Management Systems and Regulatory control at the plant..- Responsible for design and implementation, and auditing of standards, policies and procedures to ensure that food safety and quality requirements are met during manufacturing.- Design, develop, implement, and administer other programs/standards driven by internal or customer requirements such as the SunOpta Process Verfied Program: Non-GMO- SQF Practitioner responsible for a Level 2, SQF system.- Review customer complaints and work with staff on investigating and providing responses to customers.- Complete and submit requests for quality and regulatory documentation from new and existing customers.- Ensures the development, implementation, maintenance of current manufacturing procedures, product standards, approved ingredients, and manufacturing controls.- Ensure proper management of facility Auditing, Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Allergen Programs.
