As a young boy, I was obsessed with being a spy. I would spend countless hours observing others, taking notes, and recording trends relating to behavior, communication, and motivation. I considered myself curious. My mother considered me a busybody. —There’s always a silver lining. —Research and exploration are essential to understanding people. Understanding people is paramount to success. No matter if they are a result of teaching difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand language or from making a stranger laugh while in line at the grocery - social interactions and helping others to be their best are two of my biggest passions. Those two passions are huge contributing factors to my 13 years of success in public education. Trust and positive relationships are crucial. Empathy and understanding are critical.
