I was assigned at the company to identify the contributing factors to why the company struggled /failed to meet customer delivery dates from a quality control point of view.- Document review and quality auditing according to iso 2001:20015- Quality auditing on welding and welding documentation(WPS, Welder's qualification etc.) to AWS d1.1- Compile daily field inspection reports and present to Technical manager.- Review NDT reports and highlight/indicate errors to be fix - Discuss weekly findings with management in weekly meetings.- Check and report on calibration certificates of all welding machines and measuring equipment.- Material and welding consumable identification inspection and notifications on possible deviations - Ensure all operations on job packet is adhered to and signed off by operator

I was assigned as the inpector in the Economiser area of the boiler. - Visual and fit-up inspection on all butt welds on the elements.- Updating weld locations and work travellers progressively.- Doing fit-up inspection on all welds before commencing of welding.- Compiling and review data packs before doing final inspection with client and 3rd party inspectors.- Check calibration certificate of PWHT machinery and technicians qualification- Also performed the above mentioned inspections to the floor and wall tubes of the Economiser area
