Primary position purpose is to deliver high quality SAP business system support services to Brisbane City Council’s SAP user base. Analyse, diagnose, document, implement and test system configuration restorations and enhancements. Key accountabilities:1. Lead and role model customer focus by designing processes and procedures with the customer in mind, and by working together with other areas of Council to solve customer issues.3. Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of incidents/problems/issues that arise in the SAP application footprint including coordination of stakeholders and escalating appropriately.4. Perform hands on level two minor configuration of SAP application modules for service restorations and enhancements including documentation of planned configurations in comprehensive functional specification documents.5. Implement configuration changes in non-production environments perform unit and functional unit testing of the changes prior to promoting to production via approved transport policies and processes.6. Perform functional consulting, particularly impact analyses, on the SAP maintenance roadmap and other SAP related technical changes.7. Perform functional consulting, including options analyses, impact analyses and functional specification relating to future plans for process and systems enhancements within the SAP landscape.8. Ensure all assigned open incidents/requests/changes are followed up regularly and provide constant feedback to impacted users/ key business stakeholders/colleagues in the SAP Support Model.9. Provide functional advice, guidance and or review services to other teams within the support model10. Actively engage and maintain strong working relationships with appropriate business groups, business systems users and colleagues within the SAP Support Model.

• Providing the functional support for the operation of CS Energy’s financial and management accounting systems, working as part of the team of financial and management accountants in providing high quality, accurate and well-controlled management information.• Administering CS Energy’s accounting systems, with particular emphasis on month end processes and master data maintenance, to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information within the SAP R/3 and Business Intelligence system. • Preparing functional specifications for financial and business intelligence reporting system developments in accordance with the group reporting strategy, and to provide help, training & other services to users of financial processes. • Technical systems work relating to the following: o Capital Investment Approval Forms – internal orders, asset numbers, budget control etc o FICO support – investigation of errors o BI – overnight extracts, updating tables, production of reports etc o Internal order settlements – daily and weekly settlement runs o Trading & financial interface settlements – uploading weekly and monthly files, reconciliations o HARAS – uploading monthly files o Month end – accruals, depreciations, recalculation of asset balances, balancing transactions, monitoring aged debtor and creditor balances etc o GR/IR clearing o Master data – create/amend cost centre master data and activity rates etc o Budget upload on annual basis o Year End – roll over GL, AP, AR and asset balances etc o Testing – SAP service pack testing o Back-up for time critical aspects of Group Financial Accountant & Treasury Officer

• Providing financial and executive information systems & processing services to all business units within CS Energy. • Managing the credit card process and GST compliance, assisting my supervisor in operating the financial systems & process, and providing help & services on routine matters to users of financial processes. • FICO & BW SAP support, specifically:o Providing specialist Financial & BW SAP system support to the Finance team (corporate & site) and other users as requested. This involved providing system maintenance on general ledger, asset accounting & asset master data, cost centre accounting, customer master data and vendor master data. o Providing a single point of contact to guide people using transactions or processing systems eg purchasing an asset, correcting a cost allocation.• Financial & BW Reporting• Monthly Financial Reporting• Administering SAP month end processes and ensuring any exceptions were resolved within the normal monthly timetable.
