-Maintain over 900 miles of State roadway. I have been with the company now for 2+ years and enjoy my job. I seek for better ways to improve the company by cost, and improvements. Willing to learn new tasks and strive to exceed and excel to higher rolls. Below is a few tasks required to stay within the MRP standards.. Digging ditches with backhoe, or excavator. Replacing, installing and cleaning of signs. Patching or repairing asphalt such as turnouts, potholes, depression bumps, edge raveling etc. . Tree trimming such as sign blockage, encroachment issues, or damaged and downed trees. . Installation of Striping, RPM's (raised pavement markers) and slap sticks etc. . Mowing edging and blowing off curb and gutter areas.. Chemical weed control by using a pressurized sprayer located on a trailer or truck.. Traffic control for DOT, FHP during road testing, wrecks, or any other reasons there may be a travel lane occupied and could result in a wreck or congested area. . Replace and or repair concrete such as sidewalks and drainage structures (miter ends).. Repairing driveways and turnout radius using mill material and tractor. . Shoulder work such as clipping, reworking shoulders using a tractor and bush hog blade.. Sodding, seeding and mulching of turf failures.I also posses a valid Florida Class A license with a clean driving record and health card.

-Press operator duties listed below. Maintain a high uptime while keeping a low cost and high production. Monitor moistures, bin levels, temperatures, and pressures. Had to assure proper flake, resin and wax distribution. Maintain a good board weight average with minimal quality issues such as low density, low board weight, core bonding issues etc. Also had a TCO for emission control that had to be monitored at all time to assure proper emissions. Constant communication to all other control rooms to assure quality and uptime. Multiple product changes through the shift. Had to keep a clean and safe work environment. Assured all equipment was up and running in a safe manor. I also developed several SOP's (standard operating procedures) and JHA's ( Job Hazard Analysis). This job consisted of working a southern swing shift.
