CurrentClyde has spent most of his life as a partner in accounting practices, initially in Whangarei after graduating from Auckland University, (becoming a partner at 23 years of age). Several years later he moved to Auckland, establishing with another CA, a new accountancy partnership, but mainly to follow his passion for ocean racing, which became a huge part of his life. His background as a chartered accountant, largely in a consulting role, provided him with a knowledge and extensive understanding of commercial issues, and his participation in offshore sailing, (both as a competitor internationally and as an administrator at national level), provided insights into understanding and working as a skipper, with crew members (often in confined environments...). Clyde was selected to represent New Zealand in three of his own yachts, in a number of international sailing events, (which included Sydney- Hobart Races), and competed successfully in many offshore races.The opportunity to establish Extended DISC Australasia was a challenge he could not resist as he recognised the importance of human behaviour in building successful teams succeeding in commercial and sporting environments, and as a basic foundation for all human relationships.Clyde established Extended DISC Australasia in 1997 and HR Profiling Solutions, incorporated in 2014, now operates the business which has been conducted by Extended DISC Australasia since 1997. The management team at HR Profiling Solutions remain the same, and the new company remains the master distributor of Extended DISC products in Australasia. HRP is also the Australasian master distributor of the advanced flexible online platform, FinxS, enabling the highly experienced team, working with clients, to create focused individual and unique reports (in format and content, including branding) from access to a database of over 1500 different competencies. The new company name better describes the the business's activities.
