• Hired and managed the initial growth of the Engineering team from basically scratch to 10+ Engineers in 9 months, including the current CTO. During this time new project management and bug tracking processes were implemented using tools like ClickUp, Confluence, Slack and the Agile framework. Product management processes were also introduced for the Business, Operations, and Engineering teams to coordinate the prioritization of features and deliverables. • From an Engineering perspective, the core technology SaaS platform was completely rearchitected and deployed in AWS to meet and exceed scalability performance requirements and security compliance requirements radically changing the previous MVP "prototype" to a Production quality enterprise platform using modern web technologies and databases.• Working with the CTO, also implemented a project management lifecycle processes for all outside API integrations with 16+ (and growing) insurance carriers. In addition, I managed IT security and compliance due diligence questionnaires for large enterprise level customers, before eventually transferring that responsibility to the CTO.• In the startup spirit, managed the first Insurance Underwriting team and developed processes to improved the overall effectiveness of the insurance quoting product. Eventually those duties were transferred to a recently hired Director of Underwriting.• Currently leading Talage's API Product initiatives including developing documentation, user guide, technical examples, and customer lifecycle engagement processes; serving as the primary technical resource with the customers as they implemented their integrations using the Talage API.

Led Filament’s software and hardware engineering teams in developing an enterprise technology platform to support Blocklet. Blocklet was a proprietary IIoT device that came in various form factors: firmware, chip, USB, UART and ODB-II adapter to efficiently communicate and interact with multiple blockchain technologies ensuring data integrity and security. Our innovative solutions were being utilized in the automotive industry for vehicle payments and usage-based applications. Technologies utilized include (Node.js, PHP, Python, JavaScript, java, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Ethereum, Quorum, Fabric).

PropertyRadar aggregated and leveraged an extensive set of real estate property data, Multiple Listings data, and personal public record data to provide intelligent targeted marketing solutions for local small businesses. I was the technical lead and manager over development teams in the US and Bogota, Columbia developing a suite of marketing related tools and products (PHP, Python, JavaScript, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS) to utilize the aggregated data set.

• Led a technology engineering team which managed all custom software development and infrastructure initiatives for the company’s 240+ employees in various subsidiary divisions. The B2B SaaS platforms (C#/.NET, BizTalk, MS SQL) managed residential appraisals, residential evaluations, residential BPOs, commercial evaluations, and HOA solutions. Implemented Agile and Continuous Integration development methodologies across all engineering teams for greater capacity, improved quality, and increased velocity.• Achieved greater efficiency and cost savings in leading the technology integration between InsideValuation and LRES with initiatives that included: moving to secure cloud-based solutions such as Office 365, RackSpace Managed Services, and ShoreTel phones; consolidating third party technology suppliers and vendors; and modifying business continuity and security policies to fully utilize multiple geographical locations and infrastructure.• With the CEO, other executive team members, and VP’s, helped define the business and technology strategy goals to push LRES to the next stage in its aggressive growth plan. Wrote technology related articles in industry publications, attended industry conferences, and managed key relationships with both technology partners and the company’s largest strategic clients which led increased Sales and Business Development opportunities.

• Recognizing a need to fulfill valuations for small balance commercial properties, InsideValuation was a startup initially created to address that niche. InsideValuation later went on to produce other industry leading products for both residential and commercial properties utilizing innovative technology solutions that won the business of some of the largest banking clients in the country. • As a co-founder, raised the seed capital for starting the company; hired and managed the first several employees in the Operation, Sales, Administrative, and Engineering teams. The company eventually grew to a collaborative organization of 70+ remote and onsite employees with a thriving company culture that was frequently recognized as a “Reno's Best Place to Work” nominee.• As the co-founding CTO, developed and executed the strategic technical and business roadmap for the company achieving significant average annual revenue growth year over year for the 9-year lifespan of the company. The B2B SaaS platform (C#/.NET/MS SQL) managed a network of 25,000 real estate professionals to produce as many as 10,000 reports per month. As a ‘hands on’ engineering manager and mentor of a collaborative engineering team, implemented Scrum, Agile, and Continuous Integration methodologies on key projects to meet the needs of the business resulting 10-35% increase in gross margin. As the infrastructure manager, led a small team to support the business with technologies such as VMWare, G Suite, ShoreTel, and RackSpace Managed Services for ease of business scalability and growth.• Negotiated the acquisition and subsequent merger of InsideValuation with LRES. Successfully led the technical integration between the two companies which included the client lists and valuation products, resulting a dramatic increase in company profits within the first 18 months of the merger.

Was an independent consultant primarily focused on maintaining and enhancing an extranet application based on Java/J2EE and Oracle for the management of third-party Sony Playstation games. Specifically this application tracked the full development lifecycle of games for the Playstation system from a proposed idea to a full hit-selling game.

Was the Java Technical Lead for ClearCapital’s integration middleware tier and the Senior Project Lead for several critical components of ClearCapital’s core technology which was primarily based on ColdFusion, Java, and Oracle. Several of the projects and initiatives have gone on to become industry leading products in the real estate valuation industry.

Was the Java Technical Lead on various J2EE/XML integration systems and J2EE intranet web-based systems. Lead projects through all phases of development including design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and system security as well as mentoring other developers. Major projects included: A service oriented system which integrated Harley-Davidson Financial Service’s enterprise systems with Harley-Davidson Dealer’s point of sale systems utilizing Web Services, Oracle, and Siebel and an enterprise web-based intranet system for the online processing and approval of Credit and Insurance applications for Harley-Davidson’s 650+ dealers.

Was the Technical Lead and Core Developer on various back end systems supporting the web-based enterprise system for QuantumShift's telecommunication software clients. Duties included: leading teams of internal and external software developers, working with the business analysts for requirements gathering and analysis, system design and architecture, database design and development, and Java development.
