🚀 I led the development of upselling a high-value premium product, which increased customer conversions and annual revenue. As a frontline responder for Atlassian's frontend monorepo, I handled incident management for thousands of developers. I directed the end-to-end development of several products, managing everything from system requirements to workload distribution, software implementation, engineering, testing, and setting up monitoring tools. Additionally, I restored developer confidence by refining alerts and metrics, ensuring accurate measurements and meaningful triggers, and contributed to CI/CD pipeline integration, pull requests, code reviews, and comprehensive testing.

👨‍🔬 I accelerated the Android team's progress to achieve feature parity with the Web team in just two months instead of the expected six. I designed and implemented a GraphQL solution for the 'Trips' Web team, allowing frontend developers to create server-driven React components independently without the use of the backend, doubling development speed. I also led the use of generic GraphQL types and data shaping within the Expedia Experience Platform, setting a company-wide example for schema design and reshaping the Server-Driven UI architecture. Additionally, I played a key role in building the Server-Driven UI experience for both 'Trips' and the 'Experience Platform,' showcasing end-to-end solutions to optimize client-side performance. Lastly, I led the refactoring of React components to use more reliable testing methods, which drastically reduced incidents, minimized reopened pull requests by 90%, and doubled developer confidence.

👨‍💻 I architected full-stack solutions to deliver extensive destination experience information to customers, enabling cross-selling of relevant products. I led API design enhancements to extend missing travel information, enriching customer experiences. I collaborated with UX and UI teams to create user-rich experiences integrated within the Expedia Experience Platform. Additionally, I migrated legacy Java monolith code to a Kotlin microservices-based architecture, improving business logic handling and significantly increasing unit test coverage and integration tests.

Providing web solutions to small businesses using my own platform; Peacock CMS. Developed a number of responsive websites using my platform. Worked on 2 augmented reality projects in Unity contracted to do game logic programming as well as UI programming.

As a 3D generalist, I assisted with several projects, some of which I got to work from start to finish. My roles were to read draft/concept drawings of renovations or new commercial/residential buildings and translate these into 3D CGI renderings. These images are supplied to the client for marketing purposes or alternatively in-house design testing that will promote a strong and clear understanding of their designs.

Proudest moment was to be able to work on a project on my own and being able to deliver it under budget. Worked using agile methodologies, such as scrum with bits taken from others to form our own comfort. Later times at the company I would help tutor newcomers. Help familiarise themselves with company technologies and workflows.
