During the first semester of my second year in the Industrial Engineering and Management master's program, I worked with four colleagues in a Lean Six Sigma Project in collaboration with the company Amtrol-Alfa, facilitated by the University of Minho and the course unit "Seis Sigma".

During the first semester of my first year in the Industrial Engineering and Management master's program, I had the privilege of collaborating with seven colleagues in a Project Based Learning initiative with the company Polopique, facilitated by the University of Minho. Within my team, we tackled various aspects of the textile company's operations, focusing on three key areas within the dyeing section:1. Enhancing employee safety conditions when working with machinery.2. Developing a new work system to optimize workflow efficiency, including time and movement management within the section.3. Creating an Excel tool using VBA to receive and organize orders based on fabric type, processing time, customer deadlines, and other relevant factors, streamlining the production process.This project was also fundamental to improve my project management skills.

During the second semester of my third year in the Industrial Engineering and Management bachelor's program, I, alongside eight colleagues, participated in a project-based learning initiative with the company Valerius Têxteis, facilitated by the University of Minho. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the professional world. Within my team, we engaged in various aspects of operations in the textile company, with a specific emphasis on production planning.

An Exchange is an event designed to foster connections between various cities and students within the European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management (ESTIEM) organization. Typically this event involves travel, the opportunity to meet new people, and immersion in diverse cultures, traditions, and experiences. Each team has several months to plan and organize the event in their respective city. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event was adapted to an online format. I had the privilege of assuming the role of Project Leader, overseeing the coordination of the teams. My responsibilities included organizing the event's schedule, executing marketing and communication initiatives, and delegating tasks to team members. Notably, this event encompassed the participation of three ESTIEM nucleus: Minho, Coimbra, and Izmir-DEU.

The "Jornadas" in Industrial Engineering and Management is a multi-day event that connects students with the business world, offering various educational opportunities, experiences and learning moments. During the 2020 edition of these conferences I had the opportunity to be a member of the Communication and Image Department, allowing me to refine my skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. This enabled me to create engaging physical and digital visual content aimed at attracting attendees to the event.

An Exchange is an event designed to foster connections between various cities and students within the European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management (ESTIEM) organization. Typically spanning two weeks (one in each city), this event involves travel, the opportunity to meet new people, and immersion in diverse cultures, traditions, and experiences. Each team has several months to plan and organize the event in their respective city. I had the privilege of being a member of the Activities Team, tasked with hosting ESTIEM Seville in Minho. Within this department, I conceptualized various activities and coordinated the schedule for the Exchange week. Additionally, I was responsible to create team-building activities for the Minho team, so we could know each other a little better and be comfortable in working together.
