Study of the Sentinel-3 data and comparison to high resolution model outputs in the bass strait and to ship based observations in the southern ocean.- Processing technique to evaluate the satellite profiles and qualify the detectability of internal tides and internal waves in the southern ocean area (expected to be significantly large and detectable).The result should help design future oceanographic cruises to validate future satellite altimeters like the SWOT satellite to be launched in 2021.
