I am an anesthesiologist and intensive care attending, simulation trainer, trainer of trainers in simulation and holder of a PhD on simulation in anesthesia and intensive care.In 2009, I developed the simulation center of Caen (medical thesis) and then in 2013 the simulation center Normandie Simulation en Santé (NorSimS) at the university hospital of Caen. I am particularly involved in the development of innovation in simulation: in situ simulation, patient pathway, simultaneous multi-simulations in interaction, meta-debriefing, assessment with simulation... I am involved in the French Speaking Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SoFraSimS) of which I am a board member and for which I chair the research committee. In 2018, I completed a year-long Fellowship at the Center for Medical Simulation in Boston (Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital). I am actively involved in national and international simulation training and research networks. I am working with CARE simulation center (Liège, Belgium), NorSimS simulation center (Caen, France) and I am a trainer for the WHO Academy.In addition to my clinical activity as an anesthesiologist and intensive care physician, my objectives are to contribute to the development of simulation in order to improve knowledge and practices in order to positively influence teamwork as well as the quality and safety of care.
