I’m deeply passionate about the construction industry and its power to shape our communities and environments. My journey in this field has been driven by a love for building and the satisfaction that comes from seeing a project come to life.During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to lead multiple clubs and events, which sparked my interest in leadership and management. This interest was further solidified during an internship where I worked on the construction of an educational center. Through this experience, I understood the critical importance of effective leadership and management in ensuring successful project outcomes. It taught me early on about the significance of clear communication and detailed documentation in the construction industry.After graduation, my role as a detailer showed me the technical side of big construction projects, especially with steel works and the nuances involved. It was also during this time that I realized I wanted to be on the front end of the construction process, where I could closely work with the project team and have that direct connection.With a thirst for more knowledge and a desire to work on diverse projects, I made the bold decision to move to Australia. Pursuing a master’s degree allowed me to deepen my understanding of safety, planning, and management in construction. The local practices and the dynamic environment here have been incredibly enriching. As a project coordinator, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with skilled tradespeople and managing multiple projects simultaneously. I’ve successfully delivered 15 custom-built projects, which has significantly strengthened my organizational skills and adaptability.I’m excited about connecting with fellow professionals and exploring new opportunities to contribute to and grow within the construction industry.
