I'm a financial analyst and first-year finance major at AU passionate about understanding the story of interconnection that finances communicate. After joining American University for my first year in Fall of 2022, I was fortunate to join their Real Estate Investment Trust and: • Generate 9% return in assigned sector by contributing insight to the fund's portfolio on the free-standing sector weekly • Communicate key drivers to fund, explaining will create alpha for the fund • Model REITs by using Bloomberg Terminal to gather financial data• Pitch to fund drivers and technicals of REITs across Residential and Retail, using 5-year AFFO models to provide intrinsic valuation of the security Asides from my role as an analyst, I also love having the role of a student in other areas, such as communication, leadership, and trading!
