I have worked as a cross-functional developer, providing support to various teams, with skills in Java – Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST services, TDD, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps. During my time in the digital innovation team, I established development guidelines that promoted the adoption of best practices. Additionally, I configured servers in WildFly to facilitate the team's work and managed transaction services with ISO 8583 to ensure the correct use of credit cards. Banco Pichincha (Backend Developer): I developed the country's and region's first digital microcredit for micro-entrepreneurs, disbursing USD 300 million and benefiting 57,000 people. I positioned the bank as the national leader in microcredit placement and won the Gold Banking Innovation Awards 2022. My work included backend development in Java – Spring Boot, TDD management, CI/CD, and microservices, with a focus on teamwork based on SCRUM and continuous improvement processes. I also handled data extraction and analysis for the microfinance segment, generating dashboards for credit monitoring. Trainee ILP Program: As part of the ILP program, I led a team to develop software that connected large retail companies with banking entities, using a DevOps culture and tools such as Git, Github Actions, Spring, Docker, SonarCloud, Selenium, AWS, Kubernetes, Angular, React, Maven, and Java. We presented the solution to major banks and insurance companies, winning the Innovation Champion ILP 2021 award. During the program, I also participated in ongoing training using gamification, weekly problem solving, agile teamwork, and soft skills enhancement.

During my time at university, I specialized in data cleansing using SQL, developing automated reporting processes, and creating dashboards for different areas. I also developed ETL processes for academic data and automated various repetitive processes using RPA, significantly reducing processing times and allowing the department to focus on new improvement tasks. In particular, I automated the certificate acquisition process, reducing the time from 1 week to 10 seconds, and improved the efficiency of the university's diploma programs. Additionally, I automated the process of issuing PCR test certificates during the pandemic, allowing more than 50 people per day to obtain their certificate in less than 24 hours.
