I am proud to have co-founded MINDS-i with my fabulous husband, Mike Marzetta. What started as an idea to "have fun and make a difference" turned into robust STEM education program with hands on real life challenges. Used in Middle and Secondary school education, we create learning systems and curriculum that encourage kids to enter engineering type careers.My 35 years in the insurance industry taught me so much. The most important is that it is NOT an impersonal industry, it is very personal. Any success I achieved during my time in the industry is due to mentors, industry leaders willing to lend their knowledge, my fellow employees, but most importantly, my clients. They were willing to trust me to help protect their assets, and we were able to form real relationships. Relationships are built on trust.In the mean time, I have had the opportunity to spend time volunteering in the non-profit sector. I love my community. Our neighbors are very generous to charities doing extraordinary work right here at home.
