As an Assistant Manager (Finance) at ITC Hotels, I manage the financial operations and reporting of one of the largest hospitality chains in India. I handle budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and taxation, ensuring compliance and accuracy. I also work with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and revenues, and support strategic decision-making.I have a strong academic background in accounting, with a B.Com (H) degree from Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration, and a CMA qualification from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. I cleared the CMA exam in the first attempt, and received a certificate of merit for my performance. I have also gained valuable experience as a Finance Trainee at Linde India, and as an Assurance Associate at PwC Acceleration Centers. I am passionate about learning new skills and exploring new domains, such as cryptocurrency and case studies on innovative and emerging businesses.
