I am a second year podiatric medical student at Western University of Health Sciences where I have been granted the opportunity to study Podiatric Medicine through a very rigorous and rewarding curriculum. Working in a team environment is second nature for me as I have an extensive history of competing in, coaching, and officiating a variety of sports at many levels of competition. The opportunity to be surrounded by individuals from unique walks of life has helped to build my communication and interpersonal skills, which translate to the work place. My experience with, and passion for sports is something I hope to weave into my future medical practice. I have a firm conviction that my opportunity to attend a DPM program, and work toward a future practicing medicine will afford me an opportunity to have a meaningful career that I am passionate about, and also allow me to continue improving myself as a complete person to ensure the best quality of care for future patients.In my rare moments away from my medical pursuits, I have a passion for digital creation that I have been challenging myself to express and chase through photography, writing, and marketing. This has allowed me to stay in touch with two things I hold dear- sports and music.
