Accepting new challenges is probably the best summary of my professional career. I worked for 3 decades in the city of Alcobendas. Throughout that time and from various responsibilities, I acquired extensive experience in the selection, acquisition and implementation of all technological systems related to security in the City of Alcobendas, located at the north of Madrid. Besides, I had the luck to lead emblematic projects, often pioneers, which ended up becoming Best Demonstrated Practice, being many the towns and cities that have come to visit us, in order to implement our systems into their organizations.Now I have made the "leap" to the private sector, as Director of Physical Security of ING BANK for Spain and Portugal and I feel once again at the beginning of something big, something that motivates and fills me professionally. New ideas come to my head and I approach this challenge with even more enthusiasm than the previous ones. ING is a fantastic place to continue learning and with the possibility of contributing new ideas from a fresh and different perspective.I like teaching and I am lucky to be able to practise it as a professor of the UEMC in the Degree in Criminology and in the Higher Course of Security Directors, as a natural step after having been a professor in different police academies and in different Master.Another important part for me is to present what I do, that is why throughout my professional career I have directed several congresses of Security Directors and I have been a speaker in many Congresses and Seminars besides trying to contribute with article in the specialized publications of the sector of safety.In short, I'm excited about safety, I love my job and I feel enormously motivated every morning to tackle a new challenge.
