The Electronic Certification project (E-CERT) is a C$38-million Treasury Board funded endeavor with amission to modernize CFIA's export processes through digitization, and onboarding of newexport policies onto the DSDP platform. As platform development manager, my role is to orchestrate all IT activities related to E-CERT's development, QA, integration and delivery.• Manage a cross-disciplinary scrum team of 20+ IT professionals over the course of 40+ platform development sprints• Coordinate the delivery of 15+ E-CERT production releases including hotfixes, introducing 9 core export features and 5 export certification policies• Collaborate with product and project managers to plan Agile development sprints (20 day cycles), prioritizing based on the project roadmap and the platform team's capacity• Managed the integration of an innovative G2G solution with E-CERT, enabling Phyto certification data to be shared instantly with CFIA's international counterparts through IPPC's ePhyto Hub• Co-chair a test automation working group across various IT teams to promote, explore and innovate on CFIA's test automation techniques, leading to the adoption of ROBOT Framework, PICT and Python as technology stack for exhaustive test automation for E-CERT certification policies• Moderate Agile ceremonies for E-CERT• Participated in the evaluation and procurement of 8 professional service consultants across various areas of expertise (Dynamics, Power Platform, SOA, automation, BA)• Led the creation of the platform development team, through recruitment, evaluation and staffing processes of 17 employees via internal transfers, advertised pools, non-advertised recruitment, student bridging and OGD transfers• Financial forecasting and management for IT-related expenses related to E-CERT• Performance and talent management for four team leads and tech advisors• Managed 50+ co-op terms throughout the project, supplementing +23% relative to FTE capacity.
