At Mocean Energy we have built an expert team combining scientific principles and real-world experience to develop new technologies which can harness the power of waves – and accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon world. Our approach utilises numerical modelling and optimisation, rapid prototyping and tank testing – allied to hard-won ocean experience – to deliver wave energy machines that produce high levels of power for their size and work in some of the world’s harshest environments.

OpenORE is a website dedicated to the proliferation of open-source software and data in the field of offshore renewable energy.

My PhD is on the mathematical analysis of wave body interactions using a decomposition of the wave field into cylindrical partial waves. Applications include efficient representations of the wave field, fast computations of multi-body wave interactions and wave energy absorption.

Supported wave energy research projects and developed computational wave and WEC models as part of the Tuba Ozkan-Haller's Nearshore Modeling Group and as part of the National Northwest Marine Renewable Energy Center (NNMREC).

TA for undergraduate Fluid Mechanics and Engineering Professional Practice. Lead sections of 20 to 40 students, and interacted with students one-on-one.

Developed software for ship simulations and naval architecture applications, most notably Tempest - a time-domain, nonlinear, sea-keeping code. Provided naval architecture engineering support

Evaluated hardware and software for US naval automated-test-systems. Worked closely with US Navy: Sailors, Marines, and civil servants.
