I started on July 2000 as a Logistics Assistant at UNICON, then after 6 months I was promoted as a Logistics Chief at MBT UNICON, a transnational company member of the DEGUSSA group. After 2 years in this position, I left the job in order to obtain the full degree as an Industrial Engineer, and then I started to work in the Catholic University of Peru (PONTIFICIA UNIVERSIDAD CATOLICA DEL PERU) as a Impo-Expo Buyer Analyst, I totally changed the way the importations were managed and obtain much better results after the first 6 months in the charge. Then I entered to Panasonic in the Marketing Dpt and was pointed out as Southern Region Product Manager, achieving a big gathering of these 3 locations (Tacna, Iquique, Bolivia) in one company (Panasonic Tacna S.A.). After 3 years in this position I changed of industry type and entered to Weatherford, a big oil & gas service company, as a Importations responsible, but after 8 months I was promoted to Logistics Supervisor, and 5 months later I was promoted as Operations Logistics Coordinator, in charge of all mobilizations of equipments, tools, materials, personnel, and warehouses across the country, achieving savings of more than US$ 200,000.00 per year. I also was giving the responsibilty of Real State for the country as the company continues growing, but soon after that the company had to reduce drastically. Then I was part of the start-up team of Baru Offshore in Peru, as Supply & Logistics Coordinator, in charge of all Supply Chain to achieve start-up operations in 2 months.
