As a Defense Travel System (DTS) Level 20 authorizing official, I processed thousands of travel authorizations and vouchers in support of international and domestic mission sets for the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency while stationed at Fort Eisenhower, GA. I was responsible for managing travel authorizations and reservations for over 2500 personnel, comprised of United States Navy Sailors, Department of Navy civilians and foreign partners. Also responsible for ensuring compliance through subordinates of a budget of over $14 million and ensuring that all travel was compliant with the DTS Joint Travel Regulations. During my time here, there were two fiscal year changes and multiple continuing resolution periods regarding government funding; these periods were navigated effectively and with zero discrepancies. Customer service was a daily task, and I always excelled in customer interaction and satisfaction. Led multiple training sessions for 8 subordinates over a period of 40 hours which resulted in their qualification and an increase in departmental efficiency.

Arrived at Fort Eisenhower, GA in April 2021 and began on-boarding classes to prepare for my assignment as a shipboard signals intelligence (SIGINT) analyst. Completed Afloat Maritime Analyst (AMA) qualification in preparation for deployment. Deployed to the 6th fleet area of responsibility in January 2022 aboard USS Mitscher (DDG-57) in support of the Harry S. Truman carrier strike group. While deployed, my team of analysts collected and processed over 20k signals of interest as well as conducting in-depth metadata analysis which resulted in actionable intelligence for allied and coalition vessels. I was also responsible for enforcing security protocols for the classified spaces and materials aboard the ship as well as maintaining a secured environment for sensitive information in these spaces. As a direct result of the heightened security measures, zero security incidents occurred. Aboard the ship, my team was directly responsible for disseminating time-sensitive vital intelligence to ship commanders, allowing for readied defense measures and increased situational awareness, allowing for tactical decision-making. Upon my return from deployment, I qualified as a departmental trainer for shipboard SIGINT collection systems. During my short time as a departmental trainer, I led the training initiative for 70 personnel, which enhanced the deployment readiness of tactical SIGINT operators through specialized instruction. I delivered over 100 hours of training on SIGINT collection systems and qualification objectives directly to 10 personnel which resulted in their qualification completion and an increase in the amount of deployment qualified personnel across the division.
