Lead and facilitate the identification and implementation of methods, tools, and ways of working with sustainability in product development. This to enable the product development teams to deliver better products through IKEA's democratic design method of developing products and identifying the area's Range and Product development can influence to contribute to the overall IKEA sustainability goals and objectives. The link between design & sustainability and lead this topic across Range & Product Design.- Identify and initiate the methods, tools and ways of working securing and enable sustainability in all parts of the range- and product development. - Support /enable that all development projects are started right from the beginning by utilizing opportunities though the internal sustainability agenda, material innovation and product development platforms.- Support and enable the implementation of the sustainability design principles through range/product assessment and roadmaps towards goal fulfilment within the product development departments.- Secure a continuous development and focus on sustainability in the competence & learning.- Continuous development, coaching and facilitation support in the product development department to promote the sustainability agenda.- Act as the first point of contact in relation to sustainability for the product developers and product designers.

Part of enabling the ongoing overall agenda for IKEA's sustainability area, supporting development, business and planning. Taking part and have an active role in the Inter IKEA Group strategic sustainability team. Providing a bridge for smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders; maintaining and developing credibility, trust and support. Supporting and working closely with the management team on topics concerning the total IKEA Value Chain with a focus on delivering the movements and initiatives outlined in the IKEA Sustainability strategy.

- Leading, developing and sustaining a new to IKEA globally used innovation process to enable IKEA to take innovations through their value chain supporting a wide variety of projects from material innovation , product development but also retail concepts and digital.- Stakeholder management securing relevance of the process and alignment with other processes used in the organisations.- Leading and participating in change management processes.

Strategy delivery and business case pitching at Innovation councils for funding as well as buy-in from HFB's. - Leading material innovation projects working with external R&D partners, scientists, suppliers on a global level as well as internal product development and supplychain teams securing that new materials meet all the requirements.- This resulted in the successful implementation of new materials in the IKEA range contributing to the strategic ambition of moving away from fossile based materials. (From fossile based to recycled and/or renewable polymer developments, new production technologies enabling materials to become suitable for IKEA range, scouting development partners worldwide)- Patent application have been filed connected to material and/or technologies developed within my project portfolio.

Product mechanical engineer, Royal Gazelle, Dieren the Netherlands Activities: Design and engineering of bicycles and bicycle parts/ accessories. Worked on their first e-bike model. Worked on the integration of the lithium battery in the backpack/frame design, wireing and rear lighting developed by AXA (lighting specialist).
