Work in all phases of design; training & mentoring of studio members; coordinate & chair CAD standards meetings; establish new best practices for the studio; manage all submissions of project documents (plans and specifications); assist in development of contracts- scopes of work, hours budgets & design fee calculations; supervise design team on all deliverables- preliminary packages, final documents, renderings, reports, and presentations; approve materials & manage submittal review process; manage bid/ award process; attend all OAC meetings; primary point of contact for design consultants, contractor, & client; develop & maintain project budgets & schedules; establish & direct coordination meetings in- house and with design consultants, vendors, governing authorities, and review committees; develop & manage QC schedule; contribute to the production of marketing materials & RFPs (copy, renderings, & photographs); and prepare presentations and attend client interviews for new work. Projects included- 20,000 SF step-down hospital ward renovation with 28 patient bedrooms in an existing facility; 22,000 SF new floor addition for physical therapy & vision impaired rehab atop existing 2-story building; 20,000 SF step-down hospital ward renovation with 30 patient bedrooms in an existing facility; 10,000 SF women's health clinic within existing hospital; 18,000 SF medical ICU renovation with 24 patient bedrooms in an existing hospital; 8,000 SF auditorium renovation in an existing hospital; 12,000 SF medical clinic renovation in an existing hospital; 10,000 SF central registration program relocation/ renovation in an existing hospital; 13,000 SF historic rehab/ adaptive re-use for gallery, art studio, learning center & museum.

Owned and operated this one-hit wonder at 1 West Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia. Renovated and brought back to life this corner drug store, known as Tarrant's, which was built in 1880. The gallery was one of a handful that successfully sparked an arts appreciation revival along the blighted and abandoned section of Broad Street.Curated a diverse assortment of local and international musical, lecture and visual art talent.
