I manage the overall Quality System and assist with operations for APG Avionics. Responsible for reviewing and submitting Work-In-Progress (WIP), creation and management of open and closed Work Orders, implementing change orders, monitoring and measuring efficiency of employees and work performance, monitoring and measuring of customer feedback and applying changes where required, submitting employee time-sheets, daily assistance in managing employees and daily customer assistance. I also assist with human resource duties as required. I am also responsible for the overall operations oversight of our hangar. This includes the monitoring of our overall performance and efficiency daily, monthly and annually. Additionally, I create the reports to be presented to the company CEO and CFO as requested or required throughout the year and am responsible for creating and presenting our Annual Management Review Meeting as required by the ISO 9001:2008 standard.

Managed a team of 9 craftsman who were dedicated to aircraft interior refurbishments, fabrications and repairs. We handled many different model type aircraft with an emphasis on Piaggio interiors. I was responsible for the day to day operations to include overall shipping and receiving, Work Order management and implementation, efficiency of performance, customer service and product delivery, as well as the development and maintaining of new customer accounts.

I was responsible for managing Gulfstream aircraft, as assigned, that had arrived for maintenance. This included the creation of Work Orders, procurement of parts, proper distribution of parts ordered and received, ensuring accuracy of the live Work Order throughout the process, daily spreadsheet tracking of maintenance costs and invoicing of the finished projects. Additionally, it was my responsibility to be the “Face” of the company to the aircraft owner and/or Director of Maintenance, and to obtain feedback throughout and post maintenance. I was responsible for handling on average 4+ aircraft on any given day minimum and performed this duty with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism.

Processed and organized flight plans on a daily basis as an ATC clearance delivery technician and assisted with over 1500 Precision Approaches as a PAR technician in the Radar department. Communicated regularly with military and civilian pilots.Provided basic aircraft services for based and transient military/foreign aircraft. This included HOT Fueling, cold Fueling, cold starting, pilot transport, ushering, launching and basic loading of cargo aircraft. Was responsible for scheduling and processing all executive Marine Corps military flights as required for the entire Eastern Coast of the United States, through the JALIS system. Communicated on a regular basis with senior level military and congressional officials and/or their aides. Accomplished 100% efficiency as main supervisor when the department manager was contracted elsewhere.Was part of a team of 4 that prepared and processed/submitted domestic and international military flight plans. We communicated daily worldwide with foreign airbases in order to obtain airspace clearances for our aircraft abroad. Constantly communicated with executive position military leaders in order to coordinate each trip scheduled, to ensure all flights and clearances were aligned and ready for use. We also assisted in the flight operations management for the Marine Corps Search and Rescue team based at MCAS Cherry Point.
