I am a graduate of Clemson University from the College of Business, in Graphic Communications. My plan following graduation still hasn't been set in stone yet, but I hope to get a position within a company as a designer, photographer/videographer, or possibly even as a social media manager. At the moment I am open to many different career paths, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.My interest in graphic communications began in high school. During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended a graphic design class at the Anderson Career Technology Center. This class introduced me to the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as photography and videography. Before taking this class I actually had no interest in pursuing a career in the fields I am looking into today. However, the two years I spent in my digital art design class was enough to make me completely reconsider what I wanted to do. I applied to Clemson as a Graphics Communication major and got in through the Bridge program. Since then, I have learned a significant amount about printing, management, sales, design, and photography. For the past few years, I have been interested in the culture and language of Japan. At first, I attempted to teach myself the language with mild results, before committing to learning the language in a traditional classroom setting. Now that I have completed a full year of Japanese classes, I have decided to return to the classroom when possible, and become fully fluent in the language.
