Working in the ED of NYP Weill-Cornell Medical CenterScribes save doctors. Doctors save lives As a personal assistant to the physician, Medical Scribes perform documentation of the patient's history, visit in the emergency department and diagnosis. All documentation is done in real time and is intended to help the physician deliver efficient patient care. Medical Scribes receive a full course of training on the position including proper ICD-10 billing protocols and guidelines as well as medical terminology , NYP guidelines and HIPAA guidelines prior to entering the ED.

I provided administrative support to multiple C level executives by way of answering a high volume of calls, managing calendars, and office inventory as well as frequently interfacing with clients, board members and other diverse groups of individuals.
