Before long, I became someone others would turn to when they needed help.My transition from Accounting Assistant to Assistant Director of Finance was smooth and natural. While in that role, I was able to hire an Accounting Assistant and conduct the hiring and training of the new Accounting Assistant. Upon the Director of Finance's retirement, I moved into that role. Again, it was a seamless transition, as I had already been performing many of those duties.
