I am an Army veteran with eleven years of service as a wheeled and tracked vehicle mechanic. Of those eleven years, four years were spent on active duty and seven years in the reserves. I was deployed once, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, in 2004-2005. I started in the electrical distribution industry in 2010, as a circuit breaker technician. I am qualified to test and work on 1E safety related circuit breakers and switch gear apparatuses. I have worked multiple nuclear refuel outages across the country. I have also been a power system field engineer that helps the customer understand their switchgear lineups. This task is accomplished by creating one-line drawings and conducting both arc flash and coordination studies. In my current role, I am an electrical distribution field service technician and an electrical safety trainer for both low voltage and high voltage systems.
