As a current Official of 3 sports (Basketball, Lacrosse, and Volleyball) from College, Club, and the recreational leagues, there is a very familiar saying on the fields, courts, and other sporting events - "C'mon Ref". I've been afforded the privilege, by the USPTO, to use this comment as my new trademark. The concept behind this logo was designed to encourage ALL to gain the knowledge needed to enhance their outlook and appreciation for their sport(s). How? Well, during any sporting event when there is a particular play that causes one to "not quite get it", the C'Mon Ref.com site will be available as a conduit, to voice one’s opinion, inquire for rules clarification, and hopefully get a full interpretation/understanding about it. You see, my goal is to have less contentiously played sporting events for the young/"old” fans, players, Coaches, and Officials so to have an even greater experience and appreciation for that sport of interest. Looking for Perfection? No, I am not so naive to believe that this concept will be a "cure all" by no means, but at least the realization of "it's just a game" can be appreciated by all. When this slogan is stated in the near future, it would not have such a negative/contentious connotation behind it, because (hopefully) a well-informed fan/player/official can direct that person to a web site, such as Cmonref.com, to become enlightened on the rule's interpretation. Again, the concept is to bring about a much enjoyable atmosphere in the various sporting venues across the nation. Also, along with the C'Mon Ref®'s active wear/Ref/sporting gear on the site, one will find information about upcoming tournaments, events, Clinics for players/Officials, updated sport medical information, sport blogs, etc... So, as you can see (in a nut shell), this is not just a sell Tee shirts or hats concept, but hopefully a way to bring about more civility, fun, and less contentiousness throughout the sporting world.
