• Responsible for portable navigation devices and smartphone software marketing and product management during the rapid growth phase for Garmin’s highest volume market, as the company introduced 15 nüvi models each year attained >60% U.S. market share and $2.5B in PND sales• Planned and implemented the launch of the zūmo 550 (Garmin's first dedicated motorcycle GPS) at Laguna Seca, winning a Bronze Quill award for excellence in marketing• Managed a team of 12 business development and marketing professionals, hiring and training new staff as needed to create a results-oriented team for PND marketing, rental car programs and mobile applications business development• Planned and executed events for new product launches and business development including CES, SEMA, Mobile World Congress and CTIA• Defined the services, pricing and availability of real-time connected services including traffic, weather and safety cameras for PNDs and smartphones as well as map updates and other value-added content, growing to $80M in sales • Led significant business development wins in the OEM, wireless carrier and rental car markets for Garmin including Avis Budget, Telstra (Australia), Palm, Panasonic, Dell, Toyota, and Hyundai
