My oil field experience started after leaving the military. I started with Baroid Drilling Fluids in 1995, which was later acquired by Halliburton. I began my career on the bottom floor as a Longshoreman performing dockside duties. Over the last 20 years, I worked my way to slightly less dirty jobs than Longshoreman, such as Dispatcher, Fluids Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, Knowledge Broker, Country Manager and Regional Technical Sales Manager. I was later the Director or Vice President of sales for three oil & gas related technology companies, Cubility, Sabre Energy Services & MIOX. I enjoy bringing interesting and useful ideas into the Oil & Gas and other spaces. During my tenure with Halliburton, I finished my degree in Business Administration with Honors. I enjoy new marketing, business strategy, technology, knowledge management, innovation, financial analysis, tendering for large contracts and basically anything fun, big or challenging. There is very little in the Drilling Fluids (Mud), Completion Fluids, Waste Management, Frac & Produced Water Treatment, or Solids Control Industry that I have not had at least some exposure to and many of my business experiences would apply to just about any industry.
