As an entrepreneurial biotechnology professional I'm excited by and work towards innovation in both aspects of the industry. My technical experience is centered primarily on protein/enzyme engineering with forays into synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, polymers, drug delivery, and biopharmaceuticals (most recently RNA vaccines and therapeutics). In entrepreneurship I'm motivated by alternative financing/business models for commercialization of cutting-edge technologies, creative strategies for protection of intellectual property, and a laser-focus on customer engagement/end-user value creation.
