About Charles Mitch Quimanhan

With more than 10 years in customer service, I have developed skills beyond what I thought could elevate the customer experience. What I love about doing what I do is I get to transform some, if not all, of the customers' experiences. SOMETHING I CRAVE AS A CUSTOMER, it is not every day that I experience awesome customer service in my home country.I started as a phone banker and it was a fun ride until the financial crisis in 2008. I gladly moved as customer service and technical support for one of the largest mobile networks in the UK, T-Mobile (now EE), I enjoyed talking to customers and helping them out. It was totally different from being a phone banker as I didn't have to be as formal over the phone with the customers. I witnessed the technological advancement as Blackberry phones and all other phones with keyboards started to decline and iPhone and Android phones with full touch screen phones dominated the market. I fell in love with technology, in turn I loved what I was doing. My consistent customer satisfaction rating got me to the top 3% of the best CSRs across offshore and onshore sites - was able to have a sit-down dinner with the execs, on top of the incentives I have been getting every month.As T-Mobile's merger with Orange in the UK was happening, a better opportunity opened for an Australian mobile network as a customer and technical support at Acquire Asia Pacific. I have been doing the same thing I was doing at T-Mobile UK, for over a year. But it didn't stop there, as I was being considered for a Team Lead post, I knew I have started stepping up the ladder. The position started with an apprenticeship and healthy competition is set among other employees who are interested in the position that has only one spot. In three month's time, I was named as a new team leader and had to take on the new role. Within the same year, a ramp-up is needed as the client is bringing in more business and I was offered the Program Manager role. Leading a whole cluster is a totally different level. As the client is bringing in more business, every process and guideline needs to be created from scratch. My contribution to transforming the customer experience and streamlining the processes was a big deal for me and for the client.Operations started to sail smooth, I still craved for chaos, that beautiful chaos where I can be in action and sweat my armpits out to fix and smoothen anything. An opportunity knocked and it showed me the best of both worlds - pets and technology! The awesome FURBO DOG CAMERA!Need I say more? Nah, I am out of characters
