I have been a member of the Sea Cadet Corps for 20 years, I am currently a Lt (scc) and during my time as an SCC Officer I have developed experience in many areas of the Corps, currently specialising in the instruction of Marine Engineering, a 'Train the Trainer' course named Peer Educator, Drill Instruction as well as coaching and mentoring the senior cadets to promotion. I have also gained a plethora of admin skills and learnt to manage many tasks, each with equaling urgency, all at the same time. During many varying roles as 1st Lieutenant, Training Officer, Commanding Officer and Instructor I have been in control of all things admin, training and development at various times.I also had a period of two years where I took a step back from being in uniform and acted as the Secretary for the Hereford Sea Cadet Unit, helping with the Business Management side of the corps and aiding the Chairman in the running of the unit.

I lead the Training Consultancy Services Team across all contracts and deliverables and am closely involved in the writing and management of bids to win additional work. I also act up as Head of Business Unit in the absence of the Business Unit Lead.
