I develop, design, and manage the installation of audiovisual and videoconferencing systems into huddle spaces, meeting spaces, conference rooms, lecture halls, and theatrical/presentation venues across the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus, as well as other Health System campuses within the region. I also provide limited master control support for videoconferencing platforms. Further, I provide direct media systems support for Mayo senior leadership as needed.

I provide media services support for the Office of Applied Scholarship and Educational Science (OASES), producing podcasts, websites, and video series for faculty development. I also provide event technical support for OASES internal events.

I run a small, independent record label and mobile recording facility which caters to artists in the central Ohio, central Illinois, and Southwestern Wisconsin regions. I produce both live and multi-tracked recordings, provide sound reinforcement in small venues, and digitize antique media (Edison wax cylinders).

I coordinated the Design, Sales, Installations, and Service departments of a business that specializes in audio-visual systems integration for commercial applications. I served as lead designer of mid to large-scale audio, video, and stage lighting systems. Oversaw budgeting and purchasing, hiring and payroll, process implementation, departmental goals, and scheduling of major projects. Chief obstacle remover.

I oversaw the advance and contract execution for 40-50 professional touring companies the Fine Arts Center presented per year. The lighting, sound, staging, hospitality, and accommodations for the shows were my purview. I also ran in-house events and productions, supervised over 60 part-time employees, and maintained the technical aspects of three public performance venues and a small recording studio.

I tought undergraduate classes for the Music and Theatre Departments, in music technology and theatrical sound design. I was a resident sound designer for the Theatre Department, and documented all Music Department recitals.

I served aboard Holland America ships: Statendam, Volendam, Prinsendam, and Zuiderdam. While there, I operated Stiletto and Anita Mann production shows, and a daily repertoire theatre featuring hundreds of different performing artists.

Serving a four-month contract as stage manager and lighting designer aboard the Seabourn Sun, I operated Morag production shows, and various cabaret acts too numerous to list here (see my CV).

This position was created for me. I installed and operated a small recording and production facility within the Department of Music. Produced, engineered, and catalogued three complete concert and recital series.

I was FOH and Monitor engineer aboard Fun Ships: Ecstasy, Imagination, and Triumph. I operated Vegas-style revue shows, and large variety acts. I also maintained the audio and lighting systems in over nine venues per ship.
