I lead environmental EMI/RFI design and validation for the LauncherOne program.I work on system design for EMI , HIRF, lightning compatibility based on requirements derived from SMC-S-008, MIL-STD-461C/F/G, and DO-160F/G. LauncherOne is an air-launched rocket that is dropped from under the wing of a Boeing 747 at an altitude of 35,000 feet. The launch system will operate reliably anywhere in the world without the traditional facilities that support ground launch systems.
