Chris is the President & Co-founder of E-Moxie, a web software development and operations firm that creates successful, affordable and unique solutions for clients large and small. He has been active in web development, mobile development, infrastructure and architecture for over 20 years and specializes in solutions that utilize the latest available technology to solve client problems and streamline their efficiency. E-Moxie is based in the Baltimore, MD metropolitan area with it's offices located in Bel Air, MD. Along with E-Moxie, Chris also cofounded and serves as the Chairman of the Board for Venture Access, Inc. Starting a company can be an exhilarating experience or it can be terrifying--it is often both. Startup success matters and Venture Access provides the entrepreneurial success tools to give those individuals the best resources to succeed in today's marketplace. Utilizing multiple tools available to the organization, which include education, connections, guidance, space and funding, Venture Access determines the needs of each entrepreneur and aligns them with the resources they need to have the maximum chance of success in their business venture.Chris also serves as the chairman of the Applied Technology Committee of Harford County's Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB). EDAB board positions are appointed by the County Executive and confirmed by the County Council. The Applied Technology Committee is tasked with providing input and direction to the Department of Community & Economic Development, along with the County Executive directly, regarding technology related initiatives in the county and how they can benefit and impact business development efforts. Chris founded and organized several meetups in the area including Baltimore PHP and Baltimore Mobile. More recently, he has been part of the organizing team that brought the popular, worldwide conference, DevOpsDays conference to Baltimore.
